How to impress lord shiva with Panchakshari Shiva Mantra?

Panchakshara Mantra evolved from Shri Rudram Chamakam, a Hindu Stotra from the Yajurveda, the second oldest Vedic text. The mantra hymn begins with the sacred five letters-

  • 'Na' stands for Nagendra one who wears a garland of snakes,
  • 'Ma' stands for Mandakini Salila, the one who is bathed by the water of the Ganges,
  • ‘Shi’- Shivay, the supreme Lord,
  • 'Va'- Vashishta one honored by sages as Vashishta and
  • 'Ya' stands for Yaksha (one who takes the form of Yaksha.

The mantra's significance stems from the fact that it is derived from nature's five elements, namely Earth, Sky, Water, Air, and Fire. The 5-syllable mantra stimulates and purifies the previously mentioned natural components. This way creates a positive aura around the one reciting it. Saranagati mantra is another name for the Panchakshari mantra. Saranagati translates to "surrender." This implies that we submit to the Lord's interpretation of the law, namely the global 'law of dharma' and the universal 'law of karma.' surrendering consciously and subconsciously to the lord and devoting your presence.

Every time we say "Namashivaya," we bow to the law of karma, which means that the events in our life will be determined solely by the law of karma. As a result, we should never resist accepting our 'Karma Phalam' or the fruit/result of our actions. As the law of karma supports the exchange of karma with karma Phalam. Various events in our lives are regarded as Shiva Prasadam. As a result, there must be no Dwesha (hate, aversion) or Raga (liking, attachment) to any result. We must embrace everything that comes our way in life.

The Musical Phrase

When a Sadhak says this Mantra during meditation or Tandav, it has the effect of thrashing beats being applied to each Chakra with the dexterous strokes of a Tabla Player. He begins in Muladhara on the note 'Na,' travels to Swadisthar on the note 'Ma,' enters Manipur on the note 'Shi,' and ends in Anahata on the note 'Vaya.' In a subtle way, the entire pattern appears to be a sequence of Mridang percussion notes (musical instrument.

The Mantra's Advantages

Chanting this mantra cleanses our system, actions, and behaviors and fills them with good energy. Purify negative thoughts and the aura surrounding us. This mantra keeps us safe against negativity that could surround one being vulnerable against it. Additionally, it raises the mind, awakens certain energy centers or chakras inside our physical and energetic bodies, and stimulates higher realms of awareness.

This is an extremely effective and powerful mantra that is revered in the Vedas and Tantra. There are several descriptions. The following explanation focuses on what it signifies when utilized for meditation that leads to self-realization.

Om/Aum is a three-part sound, A-U-M, representing the three phases of awake, sleeping, and profound slumber. It also depicts the gross, subtle, and causal levels, as well as the conscious, unconscious, and subconscious levels. It also represents the three universal processes of arriving, being, and leaving. The quiet that follows AUM is the total silence that extends beyond the three levels. It might also allude to Tripura, the one who lives in the three cities, as in the Mahamrithyunjaya mantra, or the light mentioned in the Gayatri mantra.

  • Namaha - This phrase indicates "nothing is mine as an individual; all is thine as the Absolute Reality. All of the three levels and stages indicated above are not actual features of who I am. Nothing belongs to me. But it is all yours or the Absolute Reality.

  • Shivaya/ Shiva - The Absolute Reality is the source of all others. It's like ink, which isn't distinct from the forms that it creates. When this is realized, one may perceive that one is identical to the Absolute Reality. The big utterances, or Mahakavyas, are considered to be the truth. Shiva the static or ground and Shakti the active or creative are said to be one and the same. Shakti, while one with Shiva, is realized via direct experience, as described in Om's three realms Tripura.

The mantra draws our attention to the source of manifestation. Manifesting the god and divine himself. Surrounding your being with positivity. Finding an escape from this reality in absolute reality. It is particularly useful for pleasing Shiva and obtaining his blessings. Chanting this mantra on Chaturdashi is really beneficial. Whoever performs this will reap results comparable to all pilgrimages. On this day, it might be sung 108 times. This allows one to be free of all impediments.
