How to cure hyperthyroidism with ayurvedic tips?

Ayurveda believes that almost all conditions in the human body are caused by a dosha imbalance, stress, an unhealthy lifestyle, or not eating according to your body type. All of these factors contribute to the accumulation of toxins in the body, and these toxins are the actual root cause of the diseases. Diseases like thyroid are mainly lifestyle disorders rather than dysfunctionality of organs.

Ayurveda focuses not only on the symptoms of a disease but also on the underlying cause of that disease in order to cure it.

Thyroid disorders are surprisingly common and are frequently caused by stress. Holistic Ayurvedic treatments for thyroid conditions are effective in many cases because they aim to address the underlying cause of the problem. And not only on the surface issue. Ayurveda suggests an appropriate diet based on the dosha type of the body, body type, lifestyle improvement, and finally, detoxifying the body from disease-causing toxins.

Pitta is the source of all thyroid gland metabolic activities. According to Ayurveda, the cause of this dysfunction is Kapha, Vata, and pitta doshas.

Thyroid dysfunction results from improper digestion due to blocked channels in the body. The disorder is thought to be caused by the Aggravation of Vata and Pitta doshas. Overstimulation of the Agni is a metabolic fire that we have in our stomachs. Modern science explains it as the presence of acid, which aggravated Vata and Pitta, resulting in excessive hunger, heat intolerance, excessive sweating, weight loss, vitiation of the doshas, and direct depletion of Ojas that is essential for tissue metabolism and immune system support. This, in turn, leads to increased Ama production or undigested food waste. The Ama is absorbed into the bloodstream along with the imbalanced Doshas Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, causing the Agni metabolic fire to crash.

At the base of the neck is the thyroid gland. It ensures that our bodies use energy efficiently so that organs can function properly. The self-immunity system monitors thyroid glands on a regular basis, ensuring regular hormone production. Hyperthyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid glands produce more hormones than necessary due to genetic or hereditary factors.

The average hyperthyroidism patient treated with conventional medicine would require lifelong medication. On the other hand, Ayurvedic medicines have shown promising results in treating thyroid without life long-suffering to patients.
