It is possible for a person born on the cusp to have qualities from both of his/her zodiac signs, but they create a separate astrological personality that draws energy and traits from the two signs instead of possessing qualities solely associated with only one sign.

For example, the zodiac signs Aquarius (January 20 - February 18) and Pisces (February 19 - March 20) overlap from February 15 through the 21st, causing a cusp.
